 The Form/Met® Fence & Lid EMI shield is an excellent alternative to standard soldered cans used to provide EMI shielding. It combines the advantages of a traditional metal fence which is soldered to the printed circuit board through standard reflow or SMT assembly methods with a metalized plastic shield that provides a seamless "snap-on, snap-off" fit lid. The removable lid provides repeatable access to underlying components without sacrificing EMI performance, even where the underlying fence has warped. The lid is 100% reusable and recyclable and the fence utilizes our environmentally friendly DeepCoat vacuum metallization process.
Fence and Lid can be used in a wide variety of applications, including consumer electronics, medical, military, automotive, industrial, and telecommunications.
